It’s time to Thanos snap Arthur Smith from his head coaching Job with the Falcons

In the words of Thanos to Thor “YOU SHOULD HAVE WENT FOR THE HEAD” as the Atlanta Falcons lost a game they had no business losing to the Vikings at home with the Vikings missing their starting qb, wr, and LG tbh!  “The Head” in this instance means maybe Arthur Blank needs to look at the HEAD COACH as the problem with this team.  This might get a little toxic for Arthur Smith since the Atlanta Falcons media and fanbase are toxic these days, but I have to call it like I see it from the outside looking in to this organization!  Arthur Smith wanted to draft Kyle Pitts in his first draft to start a rebuild!  A TE was drafted to start a rebuild!?!?!?!?  I don’t care how talented a TE is supposed to be he can’t be drafted to be the corner stone of a rebuild!  Coach Smith said Kyle Pitts would fit perfect in his system!  

The following year we tried to get Deshaun Watson and failed and then got rid of Matt Ryan because he didn’t fit this team timeline/coaches scheme/salary cap hell and coach smith brought in Marcus Mariota to be our starting QB and obviously that didn’t work.  We also drafted another catcher of the football in Drake London at #8 because he is a big possession WR that fit in Arthur Smith scheme of offense!  We know that didn’t go well and he benched Mariota for Ridder the last 4 games of the season.  Once we got rid of Matt Ryan we should have started Ridder instead of Mariota from game 1 if the separation in skill level wasn’t that much different than each other!  That sounds like a smart thing to do with the QB class of 2023 the following year, but no we waste Ridder real rookie season on mariota!

Now in the following year our Head Coach makes Ridder the starter without any real competition in training camp even though you went out in free agency to pick up a vet QB in Taylor Heinicke.  On top of that the Falcons triple down on making coach Smith happy by picking Bijan Robinson #8 in the draft because he would be perfect for coach Smith SYSTEM and would bring more explosive plays to this offense this season!  At the beginning of the season Bijan was making some highlights, but was barely scoring in the system he was drafted to be perfect in by Coach Smith.  Now coach smith is equally sharing carries with Tyler Allgeiers and it’s doing both young RB’s a disservice to their skill’s because they both aren’t getting enough Carries per game to get into a groove during the game!  

So in review we have gotten rid of two QB’s, drafted nothing but offensive skill players to help our coach make this offense more explosive and yet in 3 years Kyle Pitts has a whole 3 TD’s in his career and Bijan 3 this season! (1 rushing and 2 receiving) and Drake London has only 6 TD’s in two years (4 last year and just 2 this year) and is hurt now!  So with three players drafted in the top 10 in consecutive years only have a combined 12 TD’s between them in a system that they was drafted for let’s you know our HEAD COACH is the problem!  Not the players and now we are at the same position this season as we was last season.  We have a 4-5 record after 9 games and things are looking bleak!  

IMO Arthur Smith is the problem and Arthur Blank needs to Thanos snap coach Smith off this team!  Three straight years our draft caters to the so called Guru head coach and yet this so called Guru can’t find ways to get those three guys with top ten in the draft talent to score.  People might try to bring up the defense which is a fair point, but for the majority of this season the falcons have had a top 15-10 defense while being in the bottom 3rd of NFL in terms of Offense!  The two worst spots in our team are the two jobs coach Smith had prior to being head coach for the Falcons!  (Offensive Line coach and offensive coordinator)  Those are our two weaknesses on this team and those are Coach Smith coaching expertise!
