How did the best offensive team in MLB history go dormant in the playoffs?

I want to start by congratulating the Philadelphia Phillies on beating the Braves in back to back NLDS.  They have proven that winning our division doesn’t mean anything if you cannot back it up with a good playoff run the past two seasons.  The Phillies are in back to back NLCS and everyone in Braves country are wondering what went wrong?  I can tell you, but you might not like it.  After watching dang near every game of this season I think I know what happened.  Please say it with me:

“SNIT IS GOING TO SNIT!”

I know these words can be used throughout the regular season, but at the end of this magical season they ring in my ear like a bass drum on max volume!  Let me explain guys before you get mad.  Our offense carried this team this year tbh and the one thing we couldn’t afford is to get Cold bats during the playoffs.  Yes the players must perform in the playoffs.  I also know our manager started to tinker with our historic offensive line near the end of the season once we clinched the division in Philly.  Also once Mad Max Fried and uncle Charlie Morton got placed on IR our manager snit started to rest 2-3 positional players per game.  While also making sure players reach individual milestones (40/70 and hr/rbi race) instead of keep the focus on team goals hurt the team, but once our two starters got hurt snit went into resting players mode more than staying aggressive for the entire season.  That ultimately cost us the edge we had all season over every team in the majors!

I was worried if this method of end of the season coaching would hurt us when I saw us openly giving tricky Nicky Lopez, Kevin Pillar, and Forrest Wall starts to have a rest rotation in the last 3 series of the season.  Unfortunately our manager Snit unintentionally froze our bats for the post season!  We coasted those last three series and with the additional week off for the wild card round the Braves were on cruise control for 2 1/2 weeks!  Snit changed the historic line up for game one of the NLDS just to try something new and that move reeked of fear!  Why would you change the most prolific offensive line up in MLB history?  Baseball players are creatures of habits and imo this threw the players off on top of being on cruise control for 2 1/2 weeks.  Everyone not named Austin Riley was cold in the NLDS.  Money Mike had great defense, but his bat had a hole in it AS he is hitless in the NLDS!

McDonalds is not trying to put ketchup on the Big Mac!  If you put ketchup on a Big Mac it’s just another burger!    Our pitching was good enough to win this series if our bats would have made it to the playoffs also.  From Ronald swinging for the fences trying to get 40/70 and the rest/coasting took him out of the grove he was in the entire season!  Thanks Snit!  You’re the NLDS MVP………  Hopefully next year we will not cruise into the playoffs!  Hopefully we will play hard with our normal line up throughout the entire season!  Is that too much to ask Snit?
