Ok after seeing the full details of the 4 way trade between the Hawks, pistons, warriors, and trailblazers the Hawks only gave up two second round picks to get Saddiq bey and not five 2nd round picks! Three of the 2nd round picks came from the pistons! That totally changed my view on this trade and that was a bona fide steal!
Unfortunately the hawks trade depends on the warrior’s approval of Gary Payton II since he failed the physical. That move is for GSW playoffs run and not the regular season. He helped them get a championship last year by coming back from injury, so they should do it again. The warriors have until 9:30pm est on Sunday to approve the deal or every deal is rejected! While most likely Saddiq Bey will bolster our offensive production from the bench he also could be a candidate to start it DeAndre Hunter gets injured again. The main reason for getting Bey is to replace the scoring output that gallo gave the hawks last season which won several games for the hawks last season!
